一 |     Colombo, Oct 19 (UNI) Miss Tourism World 2022 will host its grand finale in Sri Lanka from December 8 to 21, with 80 winners from 80 countries.
Sri Lanka secured the opportunity to host the event after competing with 15 countries, said Miss Tourism World Pageant National Director Malith Ranasinghe and State Tourism Ministry Coordinating Secretary and Chief Advisor Dr. Arosha Fernando, the Daily Mirror reported on Wednesday.
“As you would appreciate lot of hard work went to achieve this success with the fullest support from the government of Sri Lanka as well as from the industry,” Ranasinghe was quoted as saying.
“This is one of the top five pageants globally, which they have continually conducted for the past 74 years and this year, they celebrate the 75th anniversary in Sri Lanka,” he added.
“This event undoubtedly will be one of the best platforms to promote the tourism sector in Sri Lanka at this crucial hour. Contestants from 80 countries will spend two weeks in Sri Lanka from December 8 to 21, attending 80 mini pageants and the grand finale,” said Fernando.

六 | 大伙儿共同努力，争取早日住进新房里。”          该乡赵屯村73岁的董凤兰家盖新房的速度比逯长久家快一些，她家也属于需要重建的D级危房。

七 | 因为惦记婆婆，她的儿媳妇与亲属一道，于9月3日就开始动工。截至9月13日，新房的整体架构已经完成，当天施工人员给墙壁抹灰、搭炕，9月15日吊棚。

八 |          航拍施工人员正在给外墙抹灰。         “然后通通风，晾晒一下，估计过完中秋节就能入住。虽然前期受些损失，但前景挺乐观，非常感谢党委政府的补贴和帮扶。”董凤兰说。         据杨树湾子乡党委书记王保良介绍，经过权威统计，该乡共有需要重建的D级危房369户，政府补贴3.8万元，已经全部开工。“施工的方式有两种，一是自己找工程队建房，二是政府统筹与相关施工单位对接，估计10月底能全部入住。”          《日报》全媒体记者 杨兵 摄。
